New Zealand Qualifications and Credentials Framework

The New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA) handles the New Zealand Qualifications and Credentials Framework (NZQCF). The NZQCF lists all the New Zealand qualifications and credentials approved by NZQA — each qualification or credential has a level of between 1 and 10, based on the learning complexity. The NZQCF helps individuals and organisations understand the level of skill and knowledge someone with a qualification or credential has. It makes it easier to compare qualifications across countries and regions.

The NZQCF used to be known as the New Zealand Qualifications Framework.
