Check or change your visa conditions

Find out about the conditions or rules of having New Zealand visas, and what to do if you need to change your conditions.

What visa conditions are

Visa conditions are the rules you must follow when you have a New Zealand visa. They describe the things you can and cannot do on your visa.

Different visas have different conditions. You must meet all your visa conditions.

Warning

It is an immigration offence if you, your employer, or your sponsor do not meet the visa conditions.
