If you are in New Zealand and you separate from or divorce your partner
You can:
- apply for a visitor or work visa in your own right, or
- leave New Zealand within a reasonable time.
If you stay on the visa based on the partnership, you may be liable for deportation.
If the partnership ends before you arrive in New Zealand
