Education agent performance data
Approval rate data for education agents, including licensed and exempt advisers, recruiting students from the Viet Nam, Philippine and India markets.
Education agents — including licensed immigration advisers (LIAs) and exempt advisers and agents — are an important part of New Zealand’s international education system. The below reports show the student visa approval rates and application volumes (range) for education agents operating in the Viet Nam, Philippine and India student markets.
Notes on these reports
Education agent approval rates are based on fee paying and scholarship student visa applications where the applicant is offshore at the time they apply.
Each of these reports includes three tabs:
- Tab one includes applications completed 1 January to 1 December 2019.
- Tab two includes applications completed 1 January to 31 December 2018.
- Tab three includes applications decided and completed 1 January to 31 December 2017.
Education agents with low application volumes are not included in these reports. The Viet Nam report only includes education agents with five or more student visa applications completed during the stated time period. The Philippine and India reports only include education agents with 10 or more student visa applications completed during the stated time period.
The individual agent data does not include applications that were withdrawn, lapsed, or declined on medical grounds.
The fourth column shows if the agency has one or more licensed immigration adviser associated with it.
