English language testing dates for Samoa and Tonga

New English language testing dates have been released for Samoa and Tonga, by the International English Language Testing System (IELTS).
Accredited Employer Work Visa (AEWV) applicants for jobs at The Australian and New Zealand Standard Classification of Occupations (ANZSCO) level 4 or 5 must be able to show they can speak and understand English. There are no permanent testing locations in Samoa and Tonga, so it is important potential applicants take advantage of these pop-up test centres.
The IELTS General Training tests will be held in:
- Samoa on 23 August 2025
- Tonga on 9 July 2025 and 29 August 2025
The next opportunity for language tests in Samoa and Tonga may not be until late 2025.
