The offence will affect your application if it has a possible sentence of 3 months imprisonment and you were convicted within 24 months of being granted residence.
If you’ve been convicted of an offence in the last 5 years that carries a sentence of 2 years of more, you will need a character waiver. We’ll consider your particular situation when we assess your visa application.
