With effect 28 June 2013, application for Malaysia Certificate of Good Conduct must be done online at www.kln.gov.my under E-Consular service. This applies to Malaysians and non-Malaysians. Processing time is about one to two months.

Foreigners who wish to apply for the Certificate of Good Conduct must have resided in Malaysia for a period of at least 12 consecutive months under long term social visit pass (i.e. employment pass, student pass, spouse of Malaysian, expatriate pass)
