There are two ways of submitting medical and/or X-ray certificates to Immigration New Zealand.

• Applying with a paper form
  This service is available to all applicants, in New Zealand or overseas.
  
  Your doctor and/or radiologist completes the paper medical and/or X-ray forms for you to submit to Immigration New Zealand together with your application.
  
• Online submission
  Using a process provided by NZimed, a registered NZimed doctor and/or radiologist completes and submits medical and/or forms to Immigration New Zealand electronically. This provides a streamlined submission service which eliminates delays caused by posting documents, and enables progress to be tracked.
  
  You must pay the normal medical, x-ray and application fees, and there are also fees associated with this service which are levied by NZimed. These NZimed fees do not replace or compromise any part of your Immigration New Zealand application fees.

  This service is available to applicants who are in New Zealand, and are submitting their medical in New Zealand.

Your application

Your visa forms will still need to be submitted by you to your nearest receiving office of Immigration New Zealand.
