V3.95 German law students and graduates

1. Law students and law graduates from Germany, who come to New Zealand as unpaid observers with New Zealand law firms, are not considered to be undertaking employment and may be granted a standard visitor visa permitting a stay of up to 6 months.
2. Immigration officers must sight a written offer of a temporary position as an unpaid observer with a New Zealand law firm for a specified period (up to 6 months).
