W3.15 Business persons on short-term secondment (26/07/1999)
  1. An applicant seconded to New Zealand to undertake a short-term assignment or contract may be issued with a multiple journey work visa authorising the issue of a work permit up to a maximum period of 12 months, if:
    1. an overseas company has applied to transfer the applicant to a senior or specialist task in their New Zealand subsidiary, or
    2. a substantial well-known New Zealand company wishes to employ the applicant in a specialist position.
  2. Visa and immigration officers must be satisfied that the applicants have provided evidence of a job offer and qualifications and experience.
