Post Office

There are Post Offices in most suburbs and shopping centres. However, in the smaller towns these postal agencies are also usually run as part of another retail business.

If you’re expecting mail to arrive for you before you have a permanent address in New Zealand, you can arrange for it to be held at a Post Office for you to collect. They will hold letters for up to three months, at no charge.
