You are 20, single, and have no children of your own and you are dependent on an adult for financial support and your mother lives in New Zealand and you meet all other requirements  Yes – if your mother is living in NZ lawfully and permanently
You are 22 with a son of your own  No
You are 17 and your parent is a NZ citizen but living in Australia   No – your parent must be living in NZ lawfully and permanently
You are 14 and remained with your grandmother to finish the school year when your parents came to New Zealand   Yes – if your parents are here lawfully and permanently and you meet all the requirements
