Evidence of Employment Offer

When you send in your application you will need to provide a written offer of employment, including a note that states whether or not occupational registration is required by law for you to take up this position. If this basic offer is not included, your application will not be accepted for processing.

Additional evidence may include:

  • a detailed job description
  • an employment agreement entered into by the employer and you stating:
    • the terms of employment
    • the hours of work
    • the period during which employment may begin
  • any information requested by Immigration New Zealand
  • the results of a verification undertaken by Immigration New Zealand
  • information from the employer or recruitment agency.

And, if your occupation requires to be registered in New Zealand, we’ll also want to see evidence of your occupational registration here.  This could be full or provisional registration depending on your occupation.
