E3.55 Cancellation of temporary entry class or transit visas

See also Immigration Act 2009 s 66

  1. If the Minister or an immigration officer determines there is sufficient reason, they may:
    1. cancel a temporary entry class visa at any time when its holder is outside New Zealand;
    2. cancel a temporary entry class visa at any time, that has been extended based on the commencement of an epidemic management notice (section 78 of the Immigration Act 2009);
    3. cancel a transit visa at any time.
  2. The Minister or an immigration officer must notify a person, in writing, if they cancel a visa under this section and the visa holder is outside of New Zealand.
