W2.25 Conditions of work visas

See also Immigration Act 2009 ss 49, 52, 77

  1. A work visa may be granted with any or all of the following conditions as specified in immigration instructions or imposed by special direction by the Minister or an immigration officer with the delegated authority:
    1. the holder may work only in a specified industry, trade, occupation or profession;
    2. the holder may work only for a specified employer;
    3. the holder may work only in a specified area or location;
    4. the holder must be paid at or above a specified remuneration level;
    5. the holder must provide evidence of remuneration payment, if requested by an immigration officer;
    6. any other condition the immigration officer or Minister considers is appropriate to reflect the reason for which the visa is being granted.
