BD9.70 Unacceptable risk

  1. An application for a Business Investor work visa must be declined where a business immigration specialist considers the grant of the visa would create unacceptable risks to the integrity of New Zealand’s immigration or employment laws or policies, or to New Zealand’s international reputation.
  2. Offering business opportunities to meet the requirements of a Business Investor work visa application by persons whose main business is the facilitation of entry to New Zealand of non-New Zealand citizens and residence class visa holders potentially creates an unacceptable risk to the integrity of New Zealand’s immigration laws and policies. Therefore, applications for Business Investor work visas based on such business opportunities will not be approved.
