BD4.1 Currency of a Business Investor work visa

1. A Business Investor work visa may be granted for a total period of up to 4 years, consisting of an Establishment stage and an Operating stage.
2. The Establishment stage is the first 12 months of the Business Investor work visa.
3. If the Business Investor work visa holder does not meet the requirements in BD6.1 during the Establishment stage, the visa expires at the end of the Establishment stage.
4. If the Business Investor visa holder meets the requirements in BD6.1, the Business Investor work visa will be valid for the balance of the 4-year period, known as the Operating stage.
5. Only one further Business Investor work visa (known as a ‘Renewal’) may be granted beyond the 4-year period, as set out in BD8.
