F6.20 Confirmation of offer of employment (29/11/2010)

After an application has been approved in principle, but before a visa will be granted, immigration officers must:

  1. check that the job is still available to be taken up, that is, the period during which employment may begin is still open; and
  2. be provided with the original or a certified copy of the signed employment agreement, if this has not been provided at the time of assessment.
