F6.15.1 Verification of family details

Immigration officers may refer to former applications lodged by applicants, family members of applicants, or sponsors in order to verify declarations made by applicants about their family details (such as the number of family members, the whereabouts of family members, or an applicant's or partner's marital status).

F6.15.5 Verification of offer of employment

Immigration officers must be satisfied that documents provided as evidence of offers of employment are genuine and accurate, and they may take any steps they determine necessary to verify such documents and the information they contain.
