P2.15 Reciprocity (26/07/1999)
  1. Exchanges must be reciprocal in terms of both:
    1. the number of foreign and New Zealand exchange participants each year, and
    2. the granting of permission for New Zealand participants to visit other countries for equivalent periods, under similar terms and conditions.
  2. Normally, the total number of incoming exchange participants in any 24-month period is approximately equal to the number of outgoing New Zealand participants.

Note: The NZIS may approve a longer period than 24 months if particular organisers make a satisfactory case.

Effective 26/07/1999
