Visa application refund form request

Who can use this form

Use this form if you have been notified by Immigration New Zealand that you are eligible for a refund.

Documents you will need to provide

Document file types must be pdf, jpeg, jpg, gifs or png. Your file size must be 10MB or less.

Proof of application fee payment

Application fee payment proof must show the payer’s name, payment, and payment date. The best documents are either:

• a scan, photo or PDF of your Immigration New Zealand receipt
• a scan or screenshot of the online banking page showing the payment.

Proof of the refund bank account

Bank account proof must show the bank’s logo and name as well as the account name and number. The best documents are either a:

• a pre-coded bank deposit slip
• a copy of the bank statement
• a scan or a screen shot of the online banking page
• a bank verified document.

Proof you are authorised to receive the refund

We only need this if the refund is going to a third party. The authorisation can be an email, document, or written cover letter showing the:

• date
• name and signature of the original payer
• name of the third party authorised to receive the refund.
