SR1.1 Overview (05/09/2022)

1. This chapter contains instructions for the grant of the following three types of resident visas:
   1. Skilled Residence: Straight to Residence visa;
   2. Skilled Residence: Work to Residence visa; and
   3. Skilled Residence: Highly Paid visa.
2. The Skilled Residence visas set out at (a) above are sub-categories of the Skilled Migrant Category.
3. Applications for Skilled Residence Straight to Residence and Work to Residence visas are prioritised in the order of processing above other skilled residence applications.
