WA4.1 Overview

  1. The Accredited Employer work visa instructions provide for the grant of work visas to non-New Zealand citizen or resident workers with an offer of employment to work in New Zealand for an accredited employer.
  2. The minimum guaranteed remuneration for the employment determines the ability of an Accredited Employer work visa holder to support temporary visas for family members (WA4.10.15, U8.20WF3.1 and V3.10), unless stated otherwise.
  3. A person granted a visa under these instructions may be eligible for either:
    1. a regular Accredited Employer Work Visa if they are applying using a regular AEWV job token; or
    2. if they have been offered employment in an occupation on the list of seasonal occupations and the specific requirements for the job offered are met (Appendix 19):
      • a Global Workforce Seasonal Visa if they are applying using a Global Workforce Seasonal Visa job token; or
      • a Peak Seasonal Visa if they are applying using a Peak Seasonal Visa job token.
