U13.1 Work conditions for all students

  1. A student visa may be granted with conditions allowing the student to work if the:
    1. student is aged 16 or over, and
    2. requirements at U13.5 or U13.10 or U13.15 are met.
  2. An offer of employment is not required for a student visa to be granted with conditions allowing the student to work.
  3. The holder of a student visa with work conditions is not permitted to:
    1. work in self-employment; or
    2. provide commercial sexual services; or
    3. act as an operator of a New Zealand business of prostitution; or
    4. invest in a business of prostitution

    as indicated in E7.40.
