X6.5 Convention Refugees (26/07/1999)

Note: This policy ceased to exist as at 15/11/2004

Immigration Act 1987 s 18(b)

Convention refugees do not require an RRV provided that they:

1. hold a residence permit, and
2. are granted a refugee travel document by the New Zealand Government in accordance with the 1951 Convention Relating to the Status of Refugees, and
3. return to New Zealand while that document is current.
