To request to withdraw your online application:
- Log in to your account.
- Look for the option to withdraw in the ‘my visas’ tab, select ‘Request withdraw’ from the drop-down list.
- You can then select 'request to withdraw' to withdraw your visa application.
For all other online visa applications
If you have applied for another type of visa online, you can upload a cover letter requesting to withdraw your application to your application portal.
Request to withdraw a paper application
If you applied on paper, or through a Visa Application Centre, you must send us a cover letter explaining your request to withdraw.
Postal addresses for sending paper documents
If an immigration officer has contacted you about withdrawing your application, send them a cover letter explaining your request to withdraw.
Once an application is withdrawn, the decision is final and cannot be reversed.
Note
If we have already made a decision on your application you cannot withdraw it, you can apply for another visa.
