This list applies to bachelor’s degrees (including ordinary bachelor’s degree, honours bachelor’s degree and special bachelor’s degree) that require three or more years of full-time study.
External bachelor’s degrees are excluded from this list. External bachelor’s degrees always include the term ‘external’ on the award certificate and academic transcript. These qualifications are studied at external colleges affiliated to universities.
Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery is excluded from this list.
For master’s degree:
This list applies to Master’s degree (with research) and Master of Philosophy that require two or more years of full-time study.
Master of Business Administration and Master of Public Administration are excluded from this list.
Master’s degree completed through coursework only is excluded from this list. If research components (a research thesis or a research project) cannot be identified on the academic transcript, the qualification must be evaluated by NZQA.
