BN8.30 Evidence of the principal applicant's acceptable investments

  1. Evidence of the funds invested into acceptable investments (see BN7.10) or (if the principal applicant is investing in managed funds) on-call investments (see BN7.5) must include the following information:
    1. the full name of the principal applicant (and, if jointly owned, the secondary applicant(s)); and
    2. the amount invested in New Zealand dollars; and
    3. the date the investment was completed; and
    4. the type of investment (in the case of shares in companies, or bonds issued by New Zealand government or local authorities, the names of the companies or bonds invested in, and the number of shares or bonds purchased must be listed); and
    5. documentary evidence of the investment; and/or
    6. a letter from an external and reputable professional (for example, a solicitor or chartered accountant, or bank/investment broker), confirming that the funds have been invested.
  2. A business immigration specialist may request any other information to satisfy them that the requirements have been met.
