Note: Award certificates must be provided in their original language for all qualifications. Award certificates are issued in English, or in English and Irish.

If any courses leading to the award of one of the qualifications listed above were studied at any institution outside of Ireland, (including any Irish overseas campuses), or courses which have been cross-credited towards the listed qualifications please refer to the NZQA for an International Qualification Assessment.

All qualifications awarded after 2013 should be referred to NZQA for an International Qualification Assessment.

Institutes of Technology with delegated authority from the Higher Education and Training Awards Council (HETAC)

The name of any one of the institutes of Technology with delegated authority will appear at the top of the award certificate. The award certificate will state The Institute by virtue of the authority delegated to it by the Higher Education and Training Awards Council under Section 29 of the Qualification (Education and Training) Act 1999 has conferred on [name of applicant].

Note: In December 2012 Quality and Qualifications Ireland (QQI) became the official awarding body for HETAC qualifications. This change will be evident in the transitional awards made in 2013 and both QQI and HETAC logos will be evident on the award certificates.
