R5.96 Health requirement for partners or dependent children not included in or withdrawn from a residence class visa application

1. Applicants under one of the Family Categories who were eligible for inclusion but were not included in, or were withdrawn from, a residence class visa application made by their partner or parent must provide a General Medical Certificate (INZ 1007) with their application rather than a Limited Medical Certificate (INZ 1201).
2. If an immigration officer determines that the applicant does not have an acceptable standard of health they will not be granted a medical waiver (see A4.60(b)) despite being the partner or dependent child of a New Zealand citizen or residence class visa holder (see A4.60(d)).
