SM16.5 Bonus points for recognised qualification (to 27/08/2017)

Note: The instructions in this section cease to be effective from 28/08/2017.

1. Recognised qualifications in an identified future growth area or an area of absolute skills shortage as specified in the Long Term Skill Shortage List (see Appendix 4) qualify for 10 points.
2. Where the Long Term Skill Shortage List specifies criteria for bonus points other than a qualification (e.g. registration or number of years of work experience), the principal applicant must satisfy those criteria in order to qualify for the bonus points.
