SM4.1 Ability to apply (to 27/08/2017)

Note: The instructions in this section cease to be effective from 28/08/2017.

A person may only apply for a resident visa under the Skilled Migrant Category if:

1. they have been issued with an invitation to apply under the Skilled Migrant Category; and
2. they apply for a resident visa under the Skilled Migrant Category within four months of the date of the letter in which that invitation is made; and
3. that invitation has not been revoked.
