L7.25 Approving a direct application for a limited purpose visa or permit

A direct application for a limited purpose visa or permit must be approved if the visa or immigration officer is satisfied that:

  1. the applicant has provided the evidence required by the policy, and any additional evidence requested by the visa or immigration officer; and
  2. the applicant meets the relevant limited purpose entry policy criteria as well as the requirements of the bona fide applicant, health and character policies.
