D3.5 Determining whether a person is in New Zealand unlawfully
- Once a person suspected of being in New Zealand unlawfully is located it is necessary to confirm both their identity and immigration status.
- The powers set out at D3.10.10 and D3.10.15 can be used to obtain both evidence of identity and immigration status as well as an address in New Zealand.
