WG7.10 Maximum permit duration of the seasonal work permit (SWP) (14/09/2006)

1. Holders of SWPs who:
   1. held a SWP on 15 September 2006; and
   2. at the time of application for a further SWP under this policy, hold a valid SWP, may be granted a further SWP for a period that does not exceed 9 months on a SWP in any 12 month period.
2. All other applicants for a SWP under this policy may be granted a permit for a period that does not exceed 6 months on a SWP in any 12 month period.
3. Despite (a) and (b) above, no permit will be granted under this policy for a period beyond 30 September 2007.
