R8.5 Holders of current Australian resident return visas (26/07/1999)

Immigration Regulations 1999 Schedule 1, Part 2

1. People who hold current Australian resident return visas may be granted residence permits on arrival in New Zealand, provided that they have not been excluded under section 7 of the Immigration Act 1987 (see A5.20)
2. If section 7(1) applies, a residence permit may be granted only in accordance with a special direction made under section 7(3)(a)(ii) (see RA35).
