From policy: Y2.50 Advanced Passenger Processing (Border Policy)

Y2.50.15 Definition of approved system

An ‘approved system’ means a system, including an electronic system, approved by the chief executive of the Department of Labour for the purpose of:

  1. providing the information set out in Y2.50.10 (a) and (b); or
  2. notifying a carrier or person in charge of a commercial craft of a decision of the chief executive about a person boarding a craft for the purpose of travelling to New Zealand.
