If an incomplete application is returned, can it be resubmitted with a medical that has since expired?

If an application is returned because it failed lodgement requirements (RFL) and the medical has now expired, can the application be accepted later on with that same (expired) medical certificate?

Unfortunately, no. An exception cannot be made in this case.

When a medical is required with an application it must be less than 3 months old when the application is accepted for processing. In the case of an application being returned as it failed lodgement requirements it was not accepted for processing therefore if the medical expires a new one which is less than 3 months old will need to be supplied when the application is resubmitted.
