Updated Standard Operating Procedures – New Zealand Business Number

Two Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) have been updated following the addition of the New Zealand Business Number (NZBN) field into AMS, the EOI online form, and CMS for ICC.

NZBNs are unique identifiers allocated to businesses in New Zealand.

The following SOPs have been updated to reflect the change:

  • Create a new client ID in AMS

If you are creating a Business client you can now add the NZBN, if provided. Once entered, the NZBN API will check that the NZBN entered is valid. It will then present a trading name which can be checked against the one provided.

  • Search a client in AMS

You can search for a business client using the 13 digit NZBN
