Sufficient funds
For Working Holiday visa
To meet the funds requirement you need to have sufficient funds to support yourself for the length of your stay in New Zealand.
How long you are able to stay in New Zealand and the amount of funds you need depends on the agreement we have with the government of your Working Holiday Scheme country.

| Malaysia, Singapore | $2,250 total funds |
| Thailand | $7,000 total funds |
| United Kingdom | $350 per month of stay |
| All other countries | $4,200 total funds |
Evidence of funds can be:
- cash
- travellers cheques
- bank drafts
- a recognised credit card with sufficient available credit.

You may be asked to produce evidence of sufficient funds before or on your arrival in New Zealand.
