About the Pool
Expressions of Interest that meet the prerequisites and the minimum points score are accepted into the Expression of Interest Pool. Regular selections are made of the highest ranked Expressions of Interest.

Before you can apply for residence under the Skilled Migrant Category (SMC), you must first submit an Expression of Interest (EOI).

Expressions of Interest submitted under the Skilled Migrant Category are entered into the Expression of Interest Pool. We rank Expressions of Interest in the pool from highest to lowest points claimed, and make regular selections from the pool.
