Fee exemptions for some employers under the Talent (Accredited Employer) scheme

If you have accreditation to employ workers with a Talent (Accredited Employer) visa, find out if you need to pay to become accredited to employ workers on Accredited Employer Work Visa (AEWV).

Who can get a fee exemption

New applications for accreditation to employ people on Talent (Accredited Employer) Work and Residence visas closed on 30 June 2021.

To be eligible for the fee exemption when you apply for AEWV accreditation, you must:

  • have held an accreditation under Talent (Accredited Employer) scheme on 23 May 2022
  • have at least 6 months remaining on your accreditation period — that is, your accreditation was due to expire on or after 23 November 2022, and
  • apply for a fee exemption on or before 23 November 2022.

The fee exemption only applies to your first application for AEWV accreditation.

  5. Provide your organisation’s name, New Zealand Business Number (NZBN) and the Reference ID for the draft application you have saved in your Immigration Online account.
If available, also provide: your Immigration New Zealand client ID number and the Accreditation ID number for your Talent (Accredited Employer) scheme accreditation — you can find this on correspondence we sent you about this accreditation.
