Visa Pak 349 - New Zealand Customs Service removing passport stamps for New Zealand and Australian residents.

Visa Paks

23 March 2018

On 19 March 2018 the New Zealand Customs Service (Customs) ceased stamping passports with the oval stamp that was previously given to Australian permanent residents.

Customs also ceased stamping foreign passport holders who are New Zealand residents with the 'New Zealand Entry' stamp.  This stamp will continue however to be used for temporary visa holders.

These changes have been enforced nationally and at both the air and maritime borders.

Immigration Border Operations is currently exploring the practicality and impacts from removal of all stamps at the Primary Line.
