New Zealand Couriers (NZC) offer courier notification services to recipients of courier track-trace items:

NZC relies on accurate input of the email address and mobile phone number, as well as the address of the receiving client, to ensure the courier package gets delivered to its destination.

Immigration New Zealand (INZ) staff must therefore accurately include the following details when preparing and addressing courier packages:

  • The email address of the recipient
  • The mobile number of the recipient
  • The address for delivery

In regards to the address, a critical check must be carried out to ensure the NZC populated address matches the INZ address for correspondence.

A significant gain received from using the track-trace system is that the recipient is automatically informed of the courier track trace number to monitor delivery and receipt of package.  This should assist in reducing calls made to Northern Area Documentation Office and the Immigration Contact Centre.
