Onshore Panel Physician Network

The onshore Panel Physician network has been operating for 12 months and onshore medicals are being completed and submitted to Immigration New Zealand (INZ) using eMedical.

Onshore Panel Physician Network
The onshore Panel Physician network has now been established for 12 months, it currently consists of 157 clinics around New Zealand.

The onshore Panel has been using eMedical to record and submit medical examinations to INZ since 30 June 2015. Paper medicals are no longer accepted for onshore visa applicants.

Paper Medicals
Clients are regularly attending the onshore Panel Clinics with paper medical certificates.

To ensure clients are aware of the correct process, when asked INZ staff should advise clients that:
•immigration medical examinations completed onshore will be done in eMedical at a Panel Physician
•they do not need to take any passport photos or paper medicals with them to the appointment.

Downloadable copies of paper medical certificates are available on the INZ website, as countries without access to eMedical still require clients to complete paper medical certificates.

Action

Please discuss with your team(s) and ensure that staff are aware of the above advice regarding paper medical certificates. Please remove any paper medical certificates from public areas.
