New Standard Operating Procedures – printing residence labels for another office

With the processing of residence visa applications transitioning onshore, we anticipate there will be an increase in requests for residence visa labels to be printed at an office other than where the application was processed. We have created Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for this process, which have been added to the Global Process Manual.

Two separate SOPs have been created: one SOP is for the office that did not process the residence application but has received a request to print the residence label, titled Printing residence label for another office. The other SOP is for the office that processed the residence visa application, titled Complete residence application (label to be printed in another office).

When an applicant requests a residence visa label to be printed at an offshore office, they need to be advised to submit their passport (and any relevant documentation) to the nearest Visa Application Centre (VAC). The VAC will charge a passport handling fee. To find out what the VAC passport handling fees are please refer to www.vfsglobal.com/newzealand or www.ttsnzvisa.com
