Business Migration Branch has approved six applications for Labour Hire Employer Accreditation under immigration instructions WK2.25. Accreditation is valid for 12 months and can be renewed for every subsequent 12 month period.

The companies are:

  • Manpower
  • NZ Labour Hire
  • AWF Limited
  • Tradestaff
  • Onestaff (Christchurch)
  • Canterbury Recruitment

These companies have all agreed for their Labour Hire Accreditation status to be published on our website and this will be actioned shortly.

Please ensure that any applicants applying for Essential Skills work visas with an offer of employment from an accredited labour hire company are considered for the grant of a work visa up to a maximum of three years, depending on the job offer duration (see WK2.20). Offers of employment must meet certain requirements, including the exclusion of a trial period provision.

Note: From 1 January 2016 labour hire companies who wish to outsource Essential Skills work visa holders to the construction sector in Canterbury must be accredited. Accreditation for labour hire employers based outside of Canterbury will remain voluntary.
