ADS Group Visa applications

On Monday 7 September 2015, a new process was implemented in China for ADS Group Visa applications.

Under this new process, Immigration New Zealand is processing ADS Group visa applications without original passports. This process has previously been trialled with ADS Group Visa applications submitted at the New Zealand Visa Application Centres (VACs) in Guangzhou and Chengdu, and has now been extended to ADS Group Visa applications submitted at the VACs in Beijing and Shanghai.

ADS agents are required to submit passports to the New Zealand VACs along with two clear copies of the bio-page of each applicant’s passport and a copy of the ‘Observations page’.

VAC staff then verify that the copy of the bio-page is the same as the bio-page in the passport and return the passports to the ADS agent. The applications are then sent to the relevant INZ Office for processing.

If the application is approved, the visa label is then affixed to the Group Visa form and sent back to the VAC for collection.
