Hospitality New Zealand has launched a new recruitment service, ‘HOSPO RECRUIT’. In partnership with Hospitality New Zealand, HOSPO RECRUIT will be delivered by QJumpers – a nationwide recruitment service and technology company. 

HOSPO RECRUIT offers three packages:

  • Starter;
  • Finder; and
  • Recruiter

The Finder and Recruiter packages include a Labour Market Test (LMT) Report. The LMT report includes evidence of genuine attempts to find and recruit New Zealanders, assisting employers in meeting the requirements of a LMT assessment. 

LMT report for INZ purposes

The LMT report has been created in consultation with Work and Income and Immigration New Zealand.  The LMT report is supported by a credible recruitment process, which includes Work and Income candidates as well as job applicants from SEEK, TradeME, QJumpers, Hospitality NZ job boards and the Hospitality NZ Talent Pool. 

The LMT report will include an advertisement brief and details of the recruitment process. The report also includes the employer’s input as to why they have not been able to find a New Zealander for the position or why New Zealanders who applied for the position were not successful.  The employer should provide this LMT report with the Employer Supplementary Form (INZ 1113).  An example of the report is provided.
 
 
It is expected that the LMT report will provide all the information and evidence immigration officers need when conducting a LMT. However, if the report does not provide all necessary information, immigration officers may still request further information.
For ANZSCO skill level 4 and 5 positions, if a Skills Match Report (SMR) has not been included with the visa application a check must still be completed via the Labour Market Check (LMC) Portal.  It would be beneficial to note on the LMC Portal referral that a LMT report has been provided by HOSPO RECRUIT.

Please discuss with your team(s) and ensure staff are aware of the new LMT report provided by HOSPO RECRUIT to assist in the LMT assessment.
