High-end music acts with more than 10 participating artists/crew

Immigration Instructions V3.145 ‘High-end music acts’ allow for music performers and their immediate support crew, being promoted by a music promoter on Immigration New Zealand’s Approved Music Promoter List, to be granted a visitor visa to perform in New Zealand.

The usual practice is for Operations Support to load every event (music events, conferences etc.) on the Events Calendar. However, with the increasing number of these events, the Events Calendar is becoming harder to manage and its use by Border and Immigration Officers may be compromised.

To mitigate this going forward, music acts that are loaded on the Events Calendar will be limited to those with more than 10 participating artists/crew. Operations Support will continue to send information about all events, including those music acts with 10 or less participants, to Border as usual.

Please note that only music acts promoted by Approved Music Promoters with more than 10 participating artists/crew will be loaded on the Events Calendar.
